Fallbrook Museums

The Gem and Mineral Society Museum features a gallery of minerals from around the world, with particular emphasis on the minerals found in San Diego County. A gift shop is also located on the premises.

The Fallbrook Historical Society Museum is located in a turn-of-the-century farmhouse that was once owned by a Civil War soldier who later won the Congressional Medal of Honor. The museum features exhibits on the area's pioneers, including the Luiseno Indians, the Spanish soldiers and settlers, the Mexican ranchers and the American homesteaders. Fallbrook's rail history and agriculture are also featured. The museum is open Sunday and Thursday from 1pm to 4pm or by appointment.
